Experienced Pet Handler/Pet Bather or Beginner Pet Groomer
About The Position
Bark & Mane is hiring an experienced Pet Bather, Pet Handler, or Beginner Groomer to join our mobile grooming team. If you’re motivated and love working with pets, we’ll pay to train you and help you fast-track into a Pet Groomer role with earning potential of $250–$500 per day. The Pet Groomer role starts after 2 weeks of fast-track training. This is an entry-level position for beginner groomers, pet handlers, or pet bathers interested in becoming a seasonal groomer. Bark & Mane is the world’s leading mobile pet grooming franchise. Our custom vans are fully equipped with A/C, heat, electricity, and water —no external hookups needed. We provide a 100% cage-free, one-on-one grooming experience right in our clients’ driveways. Requirements
- Some experience with pet handling or bathing experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable working independently
- Must live within 25 miles of Sherman Oaks / Van Nuys, CA
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Bathe, dry, brush, and prep pets for grooming services
- Handle pets calmly and safely (including anxious pets)
- Maintain a clean, organized, sanitary work environment
- Communicate professionally with clients and team
- Assist groomers as needed and learn grooming techniques through training
