Experienced Pet Groomer
About The Position
Bark & Mane is a locally owned and operated mobile pet grooming business serving the Treasure Valley. We offer a calmer, more intentional way to groom, one pet at a time, directly in the client's driveway. This means no cages, no salon noise, and no interruptions. Our mobile grooming vans are fully equipped with A/C, heat, water, and electricity, eliminating the need for outside hookups. We focus on providing a stress-free, one-on-one grooming experience that prioritizes each pet's comfort, safety, and well-being. We are looking for experienced groomers who take pride in their work and desire a less stressful, more structured way to do what they love.
Requirements
- Prior professional grooming experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- At least 21 years old
- Working cell phone with service
- Reliable transportation to get to work
- Customer service experience
Nice To Haves
- Cat grooming experience
Responsibilities
- Full-service grooming from start to finish, independently and without direct supervision
- Creating a calm, safe, one-on-one experience for each pet
- Communicating with pet parents professionally and warmly about what's best for their pet
- Keeping your van clean, stocked, and organized
- Delivering a consistently high-quality groom
- Building your client base for recurring appointments
