About The Position

Bark & Mane is seeking an experienced professional groomer passionate about pet well-being, exceptional grooming, and building lasting relationships with pets and their families. This role offers the opportunity to provide luxury, one-on-one pet care from a fully equipped mobile salon. Groomers work independently with manageable daily appointments, prioritizing quality and pet safety, with the freedom to decline aggressive pets. Bark & Mane handles the business aspects, allowing groomers to focus on pet care. The company offers a cage-free, one-on-one grooming experience in clients' driveways, believing grooming is about more than appearance but about helping pets Be Clean, Be Well & Be Loved™. They prioritize pet comfort, safety, and well-being, providing groomers with a professional work environment. Custom-designed mobile pet grooming salons are equipped with air conditioning, heating, electricity, and water without external hookups. The mission is to improve the lives of pets and their families through loving, expert grooming care delivered to their door, providing a stress-free, one-on-one experience that prioritizes each pet’s comfort, safety, and well-being.

Requirements

Professional pet grooming experience.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to groom a variety of breeds safely and efficiently.
Strong pet handling skills and knowledge of animal behavior.
Strong customer service skills.
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
Open to continuous learning and feedback as a collaborative team member.
Commitment to professionalism, reliability, and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Provide personalized, one-on-one grooming services in a safe, cage-free environment.
Deliver exceptional customer experiences and build trusted relationships with pet parents.
Perform professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, nail trims, ear cleaning, sanitary trims, and de-shedding treatments.
Complete the Bark & Mane Well-Being WrapUp by sharing wellness observations and grooming recommendations with customers.
Educate pet parents on coat maintenance, pet well-being, and the benefits of recurring grooming schedules.
Work independently while enjoying the support of our in-house concierge and fleet teams who manage scheduling, customer communication, and vehicle maintenance.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional mobile salon environment.
Focus on safety, quality, and compassionate care with every appointment.
