Requirements
- 1+ year of paid professional pet grooming experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent knowledge of different grooming techniques and breed-specific requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and groom pets weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Acts with integrity and ethics in every situation
- Has a passion for animals and genuinely cares about their well-being
- Friendly and personable, able to build strong relationships with pets and clients
- Detail-oriented and patient, ensuring each grooming session is exceptional
- Able to work independently while maintaining professionalism
- Adaptable and calm, especially in high-energy or challenging situations
- Excellent communicator, keeping clients informed and comfortable
Responsibilities
- Provide top tier grooming services in a luxurious, Mercedes-Benz van fully equipped with air conditioning, heat, electricity and water.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their pet's grooming needs and preferences
- Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with pets and their owners
- Prioritize the safety and well-being of pets throughout each grooming session.
- Maintain a clean and organized mobile grooming unit
- Adhere to schedules and be punctual for appointments
