About The Position
Premier Vet Care Animal Clinic is hiring a Pet Groomer to join their team. This full-time position offers flexible scheduling and competitive pay plus commissions. As a Pet Groomer, you will work within a full-service veterinary hospital, serving existing clients of the practice. This role provides a steady book of clients, the support of veterinarians and technicians, a clean and safe workspace, and the flexibility to build a schedule that fits your life. The position focuses on providing professional grooming services for dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds, handling each pet with patience and care, communicating with clients, and partnering with the veterinary team to ensure pet well-being.
Requirements
- Experience grooming dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds (required)
- Excellent animal handling skills
- Strong communication skills with clients and teammates
- A compassionate, dedicated approach to every pet in your care
Nice To Haves
- Your own professional grooming equipment (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide professional grooming services for dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds
- Handle every pet with patience and care, keeping each groom calm, safe, and low-stress
- Communicate with clients about their pets’ grooming needs and preferences
- Partner with our veterinarians and technicians, sharing anything you notice that may need medical attention
- Keep the grooming area clean, safe, and organized
- Represent Premier Vet Care Animal Clinic as a Pet Groomer clients can count on visit after visit
