About The Position
Premier Vet Care Animal Clinic is hiring a Pet Groomer to join their team. This role is ideal for a skilled groomer seeking a steady book of clients, a flexible schedule, and the support of a veterinary team. The groomer will work within a full-service veterinary hospital, serving existing clients and focusing on providing grooming services for dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds. The position offers a clean and safe workspace, with the support of veterinarians and technicians, and the flexibility to build a schedule that fits the groomer's life. Grooming is considered an integral part of the clinic's comprehensive pet care approach.
Requirements
- Experience grooming dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds (required)
- Excellent animal handling skills
- Strong communication skills with clients and teammates
- A compassionate, dedicated approach to every pet in your care
Nice To Haves
- Your own professional grooming equipment (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide professional grooming services for dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds.
- Handle every pet with patience and care, keeping each groom calm, safe, and low-stress.
- Communicate with clients about their pets’ grooming needs and preferences.
- Partner with veterinarians and technicians, sharing any observations that may require medical attention.
- Keep the grooming area clean, safe, and organized.
- Represent Premier Vet Care Animal Clinic as a Pet Groomer clients can count on visit after visit.
