About The Position

Shared Imaging is a privately held organization committed to organic growth, having doubled its revenue in the past 10 years and dedicated to utilizing the best technology to support its clients. The company prides itself on its "White Glove" service model, aiming to deliver the best possible patient experience. Shared Imaging is currently seeking to hire a Full Time PET/CT Technologist in the Los Angeles, CA area (LAMC). This position offers up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus and multiple schedule options. The role requires the candidate to reside within a commutable distance (40 miles) to the site location and be available for additional hours as needed for coverage.

Requirements

NMTCB - OR - ARRT with Nuclear certification
California state license with venipuncture
2+ years of industry experience
BLS/CPR Certification
Understanding of Joint Commission standards
Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team
Must reside within a commutable distance (40 miles) to the site location
Completed background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

Operate PET/CT scanners to acquire diagnostic images.
Ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
Administer radiopharmaceuticals according to physician's orders and established protocols.
Monitor patients during procedures, responding to their needs and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Adhere to radiation safety principles and protocols.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Perform routine equipment quality control and maintenance.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in PET/CT technology and nuclear medicine.
Be available to work at additional locations as needed.
