PET/CT Research Collaboration Scientist

Requirements
- Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Nuclear Engineering, or related fields
- A strong clinical and/or technical background in the field of PET/CT with a proven track record of scientific publications
- Familiarity with one or more of the following areas of expertise: kinetic modeling; PET data acquisition/corrections; image reconstruction; artificial intelligence
- Proven ability in driving research projects, clinical trials, and collaborative studies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English
- Willing and able to travel up to 50% including short term international trips
Responsibilities
- Supporting scientific collaborations at luminary institutions and driving collaborative research results leading to impactful publications, external grant applications, and/or patent applications
- Driving the publication of results at conferences and in world-class journals
- Identifying, building, and foster strong collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the region
- Supporting the future PET/CT product development pipeline – coordinating both with internal development teams and research partners for the development, comprehensive evaluation, and testing of prototypes and new products
- Keeping customers and collaboration partners informed and up to date about United Imaging’s technologies
- Execute research contracts with support from legal, regulatory, and compliance
