Requirements

  • Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Nuclear Engineering, or related fields
  • A strong clinical and/or technical background in the field of PET/CT with a proven track record of scientific publications
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following areas of expertise: kinetic modeling; PET data acquisition/corrections; image reconstruction; artificial intelligence
  • Proven ability in driving research projects, clinical trials, and collaborative studies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Professional proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Willing and able to travel up to 50% including short term international trips

Responsibilities

  • Supporting scientific collaborations at luminary institutions and driving collaborative research results leading to impactful publications, external grant applications, and/or patent applications
  • Driving the publication of results at conferences and in world-class journals
  • Identifying, building, and foster strong collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the region
  • Supporting the future PET/CT product development pipeline – coordinating both with internal development teams and research partners for the development, comprehensive evaluation, and testing of prototypes and new products
  • Keeping customers and collaboration partners informed and up to date about United Imaging’s technologies
  • Execute research contracts with support from legal, regulatory, and compliance
