About The Position

Paws Around Motown is a professional mobile pet care company in Oakland County seeking a Pet Care Technician. This role involves active, independent work with a variety of daily tasks. Requirements

• Experience in veterinary care, animal welfare, or a hands-on animal-related field
• Physically fit and fully comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
• Tech-savvy and quick to adopt new tools and workflows
• Confident communication skills (written and verbal) with clients and colleagues
• Valid Michigan driver’s license and reliable insured vehicle required
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Must be available at least 4 days per week between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm, including rotating weekends
• Open availability (Monday through Sunday) is strongly preferred
• Background check required

Responsibilities

• In-home dog walking, feeding, hydration, and medication administration
• Conducting Snout-to-Tail Health Assessments
• Real-time client communication and detailed visit reports through the CRM
• Handling pets of all breeds, sizes, and behavioral backgrounds
• Occasional overnights, client consultations, and social media contributions
• Outdoor work year-round, routes across Oakland County
