Requirements

Genuine love of animals and passion for their care and well-being
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to follow directions and pay close attention to detail
Comfortable working with dogs, cats, and other companion animals
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain active throughout the workday
Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed

Responsibilities

Feed, walk, exercise, and provide daily care for boarding and hospitalized pets
Clean and disinfect cages, runs, kennels, and treatment areas
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pet care environment
Administer oral medications as directed by the veterinarians
Observe patients for changes in behavior or health and communicate concerns to the medical team
Maintain accurate treatment records and daily care logs
Assist technicians and veterinarians with patient care as needed
Ensure every pet receives compassionate attention throughout their stay
