About The Position

Main Street Animal Clinic is hiring a Pet Care Attendant! This full-time role is for individuals who are organized, quick on their feet, and have a love for caring for animals. The Pet Care Attendant will help provide the best care for pets staying at the hospital and support the medical teams. The clinic culture is described as drama-free, fostering a supportive environment where employees can be themselves.

Requirements

Excellent communication skills
Patient and caring personality
Ability to follow instructions properly
Comfortable being around animals (cats and dogs)
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (e.g. lift up to 40 lbs)

Responsibilities

Walk dog
Cleans dog runs/cages and cat cages
Feed pets in the kennel
Bathe dogs and cats
Maintain the overall cleanliness of the kennel area and hospital
Observe animal behavior/health conditions and reporting changes to the technicians or doctors
