About The Position

Take Five Dogcare is seeking a dedicated animal lover to provide thoughtful care for overnight boarding guests. The role includes feeding and monitoring pets, administering medications, ensuring pets are settled and secure, supervising walks and playgroups, maintaining a clean and safe boarding facility, and communicating with pet parents during check-in and check-out. The position requires working at least one weekend day each week and some holidays. An overnight shift from 9 PM to 6:30 AM is preferred once per week; overnight staff may sleep onsite but must be prepared to respond to needs that arise. The role is full-time at 30 or more hours per week. Starting pay is $16 per hour plus tips, with additional overnight pay depending on regular hours worked, holiday pay at time and a half, and bonuses.

Requirements

• Be reliable and responsible.
• Be observant of changes in pets’ condition or behavior.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stay on your feet, and work in all weather.
• Be patient and kind, including with pets needing extra care.
• Work well as part of a team.
• Have flexible availability, including at least one weekend day each week and some holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Availability for the overnight shift from 9 PM to 6:30 AM, preferably once per week.

Responsibilities
