About The Position
This is a 100% FTE Full time Day Shift Role, working Monday - Friday with rotating Saturday morning hours. The role involves rotating day shift hours in Nuclear Medicine, likely 10-hour shifts. The position is split 50% FTE to Nuclear Medicine and 50% FTE to PET Technologist. You will work at 1401 E State Street, Swedish American Hospital in the Nuclear Department 50% of the time and 50% at 3535 N Bell School Rd Clinic in the PET department.
Requirements
- Completed an accredited nuclear medicine technology program, a recognized military nuclear medicine technology training program, or possess two years of related clinical experience in a military setting.
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Active nuclear medicine accreditation from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency-Division of Nuclear Safety.
- Current certification and current registration or registry eligible from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB).
Responsibilities
- Perform duties as a PET Technologist 50% of the time.
- Perform duties as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist 50% of the time.
- Work Monday - Friday with rotating Saturday morning hours.
- Work rotating day shift hours in Nuclear Medicine, likely 10-hour shifts.
