About The Position

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Pest Technician who enjoys being on the road. This position offers a competitive base salary, commission on new business, and bonus on service work completed. We provide thorough on-the-job training and consistent education opportunities, including in-house Professional Development programs. Abell Pest Control does not use artificial intelligence or automated decision-making tools in the screening, assessment, or selection of job applicants; all applications are reviewed by members of our hiring team.

Requirements

A Driver's License with a clean driving record
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Customer service experience
Willingness to obtain your Applicator's License

Nice To Haves

Sales experience an asset
Prior experience in route sales, route service, field sales, field service, service technician, territory representative, restaurant manager, restaurant server, construction, hotel manager, sales, customer service

Responsibilities

Provide guidance for the best extermination processes for the identified infestation source and whether the process will include pesticide use, mechanical traps, blockages, and/or other pest control methods
Establish contact with potential customers to create new business opportunities
Follow safety procedures and product instructions at all times when using fumigants, pesticides and power spraying equipment, such wearing protective gear guidelines
Manage schedule and route to ensure services are completed in a timely manner
Address customer needs and optimize their program on-site
