About The Position

Bug House Pest Control is hiring a Pest Control Technician to provide residential pest control, mosquito services, and termite inspections. The role involves working independently in the field and managing a service route while building relationships with customers and delivering consistent, high-quality service. Technicians apply pest control products according to label standards and safety guidelines and use company equipment and a company vehicle safely.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment; the company pays for it.
• Ability to work independently in the field and manage route-based assignments.
• Ability to safely use ladders within the manufacturer's weight capacity and climb ladders up to 32 feet.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle for extended periods, with travel that may include short stops or longer routes between counties or service areas.
• Ability to safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and rooftops.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with internal and external customers and deliver excellent service to encourage customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Manage the daily operations of a service route using effective time management.
• Perform residential pest control, mosquito services, and termite inspections.
• Problem-solve customer accounts to address current and future needs.
• Communicate consistently with customers to keep them informed and satisfied.
• Work with customer service, sales, and fellow service professionals to provide an outstanding customer experience.
• Apply pest control products in accordance with label standards and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a safety-first mindset when operating company equipment or driving a company vehicle.
