About The Position

American Pest Control, a hometown brand of OPC Pest Services, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Pest Control Technicians across Central Illinois. This full-time, year-round position offers the opportunity to work independently, start your day from home, and serve local communities. No prior pest control experience is necessary, as comprehensive training, tools, a company vehicle, and support will be provided. The role involves protecting homes, families, businesses, and community spaces from pests, building customer relationships, and managing a service route efficiently. Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid driver’s license must be maintained through life of employment
• Must maintain a good driving record and be able to pass criminal history background check, physical exam and drug screen.
• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions

Nice To Haves

• Preferred candidates live within the Hanna City, Illinois area (Brimfield, Dunlap, Princeville, Sterling, Rock Falls, Dixon)
• Experience in home services industry is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform pest management services for residential and commercial customers
• Inspect properties and recommend solutions
• Build strong customer relationships based on trust and professionalism
• Manage your route efficiently and independently
• Identify opportunities to better serve your customers
• Maintain service documentation and reports
• Work closely with office staff to ensure excellent customer service
