Pest Control Technician (Sign On Incentive)
About The Position
We're looking for a motivated Residential Pest Control Technician with experience in sales and home inspections. This role focuses on conducting detailed inspections, identifying pest issues, and closing sales while delivering excellent customer service. In this position, you will have a daily route where you will treat customers' homes with various pest control treatments, techniques, and inspections. You will strive to solve customers' pest concerns while exemplifying excellent customer service, maintaining customer relationships, and providing strategic recommendations. Requirements
- Minimum 6 months sales experience required.
- Minimum 6 months of home inspection experience required.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Customer-focused and self-motivated.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be 18 or over.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be clean-shaven for safety purposes (may occasionally wear a respirator).
- Must be comfortable going into crawl spaces and attics.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in pest control.
- Previous experience in HVAC.
- Previous experience in solar.
- Previous experience in internet or cable installation.
- Previous experience running an independent route.
- Previous experience in other types of in-home technician roles.
- Active Washington pest control license.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections of residential properties to identify pest infestations and points of entry for insects and rodents.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for pest concerns.
- Communicate findings, treatment plans, and preventative measures clearly to customers.
- Offer additional services to customers to ensure they remain pest-free.
- Treat customers' homes with various pest control treatments and techniques.
- Solve customers' pest concerns while exemplifying excellent customer service.
- Maintain customer relationships and provide strategic recommendations.
- Attend occasional meetings, training, or restocking at the warehouse in Kent, WA.
