They maintain and stock equipment, follow applicable pest-control and safety regulations, and safely operate a company-provided service vehicle, which receives routine maintenance. The work takes place indoors and outdoors in the local climate and may involve confined spaces, animals, insects, mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals. The technician wears required personal protective equipment, including an OSHA-compliant respirator, and receives training on safely handling work conditions.
