About The Position

Newtown Termite & Pest Control is looking for a dependable, motivated Pest Control Technician to join our growing team in Bucks County. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, being in the field, solving problems, and interacting with people rather than sitting at a desk. While pest control experience is a plus, it is not required as training will be provided. Technicians have the potential to earn beyond their hourly pay through commissions on sales they close and leads they generate.

Dependable and punctual
Comfortable working independently
Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather
Physically capable of climbing ladders, entering crawlspaces, and performing hands-on work
Comfortable talking with homeowners and explaining work
Problem solver with attention to details
Willing to learn and continuously improve
Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet for work
Possession of a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Nice To Haves

Pest control experience
PA pesticide license
Experience in construction, landscaping, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, wildlife, maintenance, or other hands-on trades

Responsibilities

Inspect properties for signs of pest activity and conditions contributing to infestations
Perform professional pest control treatments
Identify pest problems and determine appropriate solutions
Educate customers on findings and prevention methods
Perform follow-up services and monitor ongoing pest activity
Identify opportunities to recommend additional services
Generate leads for additional services
Maintain vehicle, equipment, and supplies
Complete accurate service documentation through mobile technology
Represent Newtown professionally in customers' homes and businesses
