About The Position

Alabama Professional Services (APS) is a third-generation, family-owned company with nearly 50 years of experience protecting homes and businesses across Alabama. We are seeking a full-time Pest Control Technician to join our team in central Alabama. This role is suitable for individuals with prior pest control experience or those looking for a career change with strong earning potential, as APS provides comprehensive training and support.

Requirements

• A reliable, hardworking person who enjoys being out in the field and working with people
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily route
• Valid Alabama driver's license and clean driving record required
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

• Pest control experience or license is a plus — but not required. We train.

Responsibilities

• Serve residential and commercial customers across a designated route in central Alabama
• Identify pest issues, apply treatments, and help customers protect their homes and businesses
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers at each visit
• Cross-sell additional APS services when the customer has a genuine need
• Maintain accurate service records and follow daily route schedules
• Drive safely, represent APS with pride, and follow all safety and compliance guidelines
