About The Position

Arrow Exterminators is hiring a full-time Pest Control Technician specializing in termite control. The role provides service to residential and commercial customers using an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach and is paid hourly. Technicians receive a company vehicle and training; no prior experience is necessary for the right candidate. The technician follows prescribed treatments shown on inspection graphs and specification sheets, prepares treatment areas by removing and hauling away debris, and applies wood-destroying-organism treatments to buildings and structures. Methods may include installing Sentricon termite bait stations, trenching and applying liquid treatments around exterior or crawl-space perimeters, drilling and treating void spaces or blocks, and spraying affected areas. The technician also collects service payments, answers customer questions, builds client relationships, and maintains equipment and the company vehicle in proper operating condition.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to pass and maintain state regulatory agency-required licensing or certification exams.
Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
No experience is necessary; training is provided for the right person.
Must complete pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

Provide residential or commercial pest control service using an Integrated Pest Management approach.
Follow prescribed treatments shown on inspection graphs and specification sheets.
Prepare treatment areas by removing and hauling away debris as prescribed.
Install Sentricon termite bait stations using an auger and digging tools.
Trench and apply liquid treatments to exterior or crawl-space perimeters of structures.
Drill and apply liquid treatments to void spaces or blocks in crawl spaces and structures.
Spray product onto affected areas.
Describe personalized treatment solutions and answer customer questions.
Collect service payments from customers.
Keep equipment and the company vehicle in proper operating condition.
