About The Position
OPC Pest Services is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Pest Control Technicians in Lexington, Kentucky. This full-time, year-round position offers the opportunity to work independently, start your day from home, and serve your local community. No prior pest control experience is necessary, as the company provides comprehensive training, tools, a company vehicle, and ongoing support. As a Pest Control Technician, you will protect homes, families, businesses, and community spaces from pests, providing customers with peace of mind and contributing to a safer, healthier environment. The role involves managing your own route, building customer relationships, and solving problems that matter, with earning potential through uncapped commissions.
Requirements
- No experience in pest control necessary
- Valid driver’s license must be maintained through life of employment
- Must maintain a good driving record and be able to pass criminal history background check, physical exam and drug screen.
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
- Able to work in all types of weather conditions
Nice To Haves
- Experience in home services industry is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform pest management services for residential and commercial customers
- Work with a team to install home encapsulation pest management solutions
- Inspect properties and recommend solutions
- Build strong customer relationships based on trust and professionalism
- Manage your route efficiently and independently
- Identify opportunities to better serve your customers
- Maintain service documentation and reports
- Work closely with office staff to ensure excellent customer service
