Pest Control Technician/ Exterminator -VA - Richmond
About The Position
The Industrial Fumigant Company (IFC), a division of the Rollins Corporation, has been a leading provider of Pest Management and Consultation Services to the Food and Commodity Industries for over 85 years! This role offers competitive pay of $22.00-25.00/hr with commission-based earnings potential and a company vehicle potential with gas card. Join our team and you will take care of our commercial accounts by conducting in-depth inspections, developing solutions and treating customer facilities. You will maintain excellent customer relations with business clients through professional service, knowledgeable communication and precise documentation. You will be an integral part of a growing company that is financially stable.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
- Ability to work in the field independently.
- Good driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug screen.
- Ability to safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.

Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth inspections of commercial accounts.
- Develop solutions for pest control issues.
- Treat customer facilities for pests.
- Maintain excellent customer relations with business clients through professional service, knowledgeable communication and precise documentation.
- Respond to customer requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Serve as a problem solver for customers by utilizing in-depth training and company resources to determine the most efficient and best overall solution for each customer's needs.
- Develop knowledge and expertise in pest control methods and products through provided training.
- Maintain accuracy of all customer and IFC records.
