Pest Control Service Technician and Termite Technician
About The Position
Blue Sky Pest Control is hiring full-time Pest Control Technicians (Exterminators) for the Tucson area. This role offers a consistent and stable work environment year-round with no layoffs or furloughs. The company has experienced consistent growth since its establishment in 1999. Technicians are the face of the company, and success is built on their ability to do right by the customer, maintain a positive attitude, and solve problems. The role involves working independently, outdoors, and requires effective communication, commitment to safety, and providing excellent results by following the scope of service. Candidates from other hard-working blue-collar industries are welcome, as the company provides training and licensing support.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must pass our assessment used by criteria corp, and the hiring talent.
- Must pass an initial drug screening and continued random drug screenings.
- Marijuana use, regardless of medical marijuana card status, disqualifies eligibility for this role due to safety concerns.
- Must be clean-shaven daily (mustaches are acceptable) for respirator use.
- Willing to properly use personal protective equipment.

- Safely lift, push and pull equipment, bend, squat, crawl, reach, climb over and on top of structures.
- Ascend and descend stairs and ladders, occasionally working at heights.
- Properly maintain a company truck and equipment, reporting any issues in a timely manner.
- Safely use application equipment, inspection equipment, small hand tools, and small power tools.
- Properly use personal protective equipment, including a respirator (must be clean-shaven daily, mustaches are acceptable).
- Handle pesticides.
