About The Position

Blue Sky Pest Control is hiring full-time Pest Control Technicians (Exterminators) for the Tucson area. No experience is needed as we provide paid training, including state licensing. This role offers a consistent and stable work environment year-round with no layoffs or furloughs. Safely lifting, pushing, pulling equipment, bending, squatting, crawling, reaching, climbing, and ascending/descending stairs and ladders are required. Maintaining a company truck and equipment, and possessing a valid driver's license are also necessary. The ability to safely use application and inspection equipment, small hand tools, and small power tools is essential. Use of personal protective equipment, including a respirator (requiring a clean-shaven face daily), and handling pesticides are part of the job. Successful candidates must pass a pre-hire drug screening and ongoing random drug screenings, as marijuana use disqualifies eligibility due to safety concerns. We welcome candidates from other hard-working blue-collar industries and customer service-oriented backgrounds.

Requirements

Valid driver's license in good standing.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be able to pass our assessment used by criteria corp, and the hiring talent.
Must be able to pass a pre-hire drug screening.
Must be able to pass ongoing random drug screenings.
Must be clean-shaven daily for respirator use.
Must be willing to handle pesticides.
Must be able to tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations.
Must be able to safely lift, push and pull equipment, bend, squat, crawl, reach, climb over and on top of structures.
Must be able to ascend and descend stairs and ladders, occasionally working at heights.
Must be able to safely use application equipment, inspection equipment, small hand tools, and small power tools.
Must be committed to safety.
