About The Position

Blue Sky Pest Control is hiring full-time Pest Control Technicians (Exterminators) with a starting salary range of $47,000 - $57,000 (DOE; includes hourly pay). No experience is needed as the company provides paid training, including state licensing. The company offers year-round stability, consistent growth, and a competitive pay and benefits package. Technicians are the face of the company and are responsible for exceeding customer expectations through honesty, hard work, and accountability. The role involves working independently, outdoors, and requires effective communication, a positive attitude, and a commitment to safety. Successful candidates will be trained on innovative equipment and products, and provided with extensive training including in-field training, online modules, weekly team training, and supervisor support. The position requires the ability to handle pesticides, use application and inspection equipment, and maintain a company truck and equipment. Candidates from other hard-working blue-collar industries are welcome, provided they have the right attitude and customer service experience.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must pass our assessment used by criteria corp, and the hiring talent.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-hire drug screening as well as ongoing random drug screenings.
  • Marijuana use, regardless of medical marijuana card status, disqualifies eligibility for this role due to safety concerns.
  • Must be clean shaved daily (mustaches are acceptable) for respirator use.

  • Safely use application equipment, inspection equipment, small hand tools, and small power tools.
  • Properly use personal protective equipment, including a respirator (per osha: must be clean shaved daily, mustaches are acceptable).
  • Handle pesticides.
