About The Position

Mosquito Hunters / Humbug Holiday Lighting helps homeowners enjoy their yards by providing mosquito and pest control treatments throughout the year, and when not hunting pests, we hang holiday lights in the Fall. We like to say that we are not in the mosquito business, we are in the loyalty business. Our focus is solely on forming positive relationships and providing support. We are passionate about creating a remarkable customer experience and want to work with hardworking individuals who will represent our company with enthusiasm and integrity. This full-time position will start with holiday lighting work in the Fall, then sales in Winter, and pest control in the Spring and Summer. Requirements

Valid driver's license
Reliable transportation
Proof of insurance
Enjoy working outdoors
Be comfortable on ladders and roofs
Be energetic, hardworking & reliable
Possess excellent communication & customer service skills
Excel in a position of independence & responsibility
Willing to take state licensing exam (we train & pay for this)

Nice To Haves

Pest control license highly preferred but not required
No prior experience required
Operate a boom lift safely and effectively
Pest control experience and license preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Install outdoor holiday lights on homes, rooftops, and foliage on customer properties
Complete ladder safety training (provided by us) and demonstrate proper ladder use
Maintain a professional appearance and deliver high-quality work on all job sites
Provide on-site quotes and make lighting recommendations to clients
Drive to and from client homes and business locations
Support marketing efforts by distributing door hangers, lawn signs, and other materials
Work comfortably and safely at heights, including rooftops and elevated surfaces
Operate a boom lift safely and effectively (preferred)
Represent the company and maintain a high level of customer service
Maintain a clean vehicle and equipment
Survey yards for mosquito breeding grounds
Reduce or apply larvicide to standing water on the property
Give clients recommendations on products and services
Apply control products to the surrounding foliage using a motorized backpack sprayer
Participate in door-to-door and commercial sales efforts
