The overall objective of this role is to provide support to EM Business Transformation Team in key operating areas including, facilitating development, growth and utilization of the External Manufacturing NEXUS, CMO Database administration and maintenance, data automation, report generation and data analytics. The intern will cultivate a comprehensive understanding of digital analytical tools and gain valuable hands-on experience in External Manufacturing Operations, fostering both technical proficiency and operational insight.

  • Manages many internal relationships both inside and outside of the EM organization to be successful.
  • Conducts advanced data analytics and reporting in support of Business Transformation core needs.
  • Creates and manages Power Automate workflows to improve efficiency by automating manual tasks or operations.
  • Develops interactive Power BI dashboards to effectively visualize and consolidate complex datasets, enabling insights and data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborates with the internal team to maintain the EM tools on the Quickbase platform.
  • Maintains Contract Manufacturing Organization Data Base by ensuring the database is up-to-date, and validating external manufacturing information through regular updates to the External Site Network Database.
  • Ensures the EM Knowledge Center is up-to-date with new and updated materials by partnering with data owners.
  • Supports the team and contributes to the overall development, implementation, and execution of EM initiatives.
  • Enrolled in university for bachelor or masters program with concentration in Science, Engineering or other technical subjects preferred.
  • Must be available for 40 hours a week, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office required.
  • Basic analytical skills to identify gaps and root causes of issues.
  • Attention to detail and having very good time management skills are critical.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision to meet tight deadlines and maintain a positive demeanor.
  • Strong Customer Service mentality.
  • Experience with compliance management, portfolio management and training systems management strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat DC preferred.
  • Solid understanding and working knowledge of Power BI and Power Automate is a plus.
