About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a full-time Personnel Staffer to join their growing and thriving organization. This role offers the opportunity to provide customer service and effective engagement to patients. The position is .9 FTE (72 hours bi-weekly) and is a full-time role. It involves a rotating mix of day shifts (4:15 AM–1:45 PM) and evening shifts (1:30 PM–11:00 PM), with every 3rd weekend and 3 holidays per year required. Remote work is available after on-site training, which typically lasts 1-2 months. Candidates must reside in Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Iowa. The on-site training will take place in Onalaska.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalency
2 years of experience in an office setting or customer service position
Problem solving skills
Independent working skills
Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

Coordinates daily staffing operations to ensure optimal coverage based on skill mix, priority, and availability.
Collaborates closely with hospital leadership to meet immediate patient care needs.
Provides administrative support including timekeeping, schedule adjustments, data entry, and policy compliance.
Maintains excellent customer service and responsiveness.
Partners with clinical leadership to plan future staffing plans.
Manages employee requests (ill calls, shift pick-ups, swaps).
Ensures schedules remain within budget and departmental guidelines.
Answers phone calls and responds to staffing needs within the hospital efficiently while staying organized.
