Personnel Security Specialist
About The Position
SAIC is looking for a Personnel Security (PERSEC) subject matter expert (SME) to support a highly dynamic and growing program with one of our US Government customers. You will be a part of a large multi-year contract that supports our customer in systems engineering and integration across a broad portfolio of projects. You will come into a program that enjoys a close working relationship with the customer, bringing exquisite technical expertise to bear on real world problems, helping the customer execute real world missions that impact National Security on a daily basis. This close relationship, along with the program's longevity (20 years), ensures that as a new team member you will find a depth of support to grow and develop that is unmatched, all while making a difference - daily. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the protection of our organization's personnel and assets. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Perform high accuracy data entry and maintain accurate and up-to-date security records and databases
- Communicate with multiple Government agencies, contractor and team members
- Manage multiple tasks and deadlines and be able to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances
- Responsible for receiving, processing, and managing a variety of documents from Government agencies and contractors, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), continuous enrollment forms, and other required documentation
- Communicate effectively with Government agencies and contractors to facilitate the clearance process, address inquiries, and provide updates
- Conduct PERSEC security audits and ensure compliance
- Provide PERSEC security training and awareness to personnel on security related topics
- Develop and implement PERSEC Security Plans and procedures
- Monitor and evaluate PERSEC related incidents, investigations and reports to identify areas for improvement or resolution
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism
