The role also handles payroll and benefits administration, processes payroll, and maintains time and attendance records. Coordination of leave paperwork, including disability, military, FMLA, and worker's compensation, is also a key responsibility. The Personnel Coordinator Bookkeeper must maintain associate HR records securely, ensuring medical files are kept separate and personnel files are complete and up-to-date. Compliance with state laws for minor associates, HIPAA, and confidentiality is essential. The role may also coordinate safety meetings and service award programs, answer incoming calls, and support front-end operations. A clean and neat office area is expected, and all duties must be performed with honesty and integrity in compliance with company policies.
