ServiceSource, a champion for people with disabilities and a qualified nonprofit agency operating within the AbilityOne program, is seeking a Personnel Assistant II. This role performs a variety of military HR personnel administrative tasks, including records management, personnel reassignment and family travel, DEERS enrollment, separation and retirement processing, and student/trainee personnel actions. The position involves processing complicated personnel actions, onboarding/offboarding, special pay requests, and responding to policy inquiries. It requires extensive knowledge of various application processes and the ability to use judgment in selecting proper procedures. Guidance and training are provided as needed, and completed work receives close technical review. ServiceSource hires persons with significant disabilities and will obtain documentation for direct labor positions as per the JWOD Act.
