About The Position

As an HR Professional, you will play a key role in providing hands-on support across a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, LMIA processes, and employment contracts, all handled with the highest level of confidentiality. The role requires strong judgment, emotional intelligence, and the ability to navigate complex situations while balancing compliance, urgency, and business needs. You will work collaboratively with the HR team, contributing to process improvements, supporting organizational initiatives, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or advisory role
  • Solid background in employee relations and handling sensitive workplace matters
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and compliance requirements
  • Ability to work with urgency while maintaining accuracy and sound judgment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with leaders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with ADP, SharePoint, or HRIS platforms is an asset.
  • Self-driven, curious, and committed to continuous improvement and professional growth.

Nice To Haves

  • CPHR designation or working towards CPHR is considered as a strong asset

Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including performance concerns, workplace issues, conflict resolution, and sensitive employee situations
  • Draft, review, and manage employment contracts, offer letters, amendments, extensions, and other employment documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with employment standards and immigration requirements
  • Manage LMIA and immigration-related processes, including applications, renewals, documentation, compliance tracking, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external advisors
  • Provide practical, compliant guidance to managers on employee relations, policy interpretation, performance management, and employment-related decision-making
  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, probation reviews, employment changes, and maintenance of accurate employee records
  • Manage multiple concurrent HR requests with competing timelines while maintaining a high level of accuracy, discretion, and follow-through
  • Contribute to the development, improvement, and standardization of HR templates, contracts, processes, and documentation
  • Support audits, reporting, and compliance activities related to employment and immigration requirements
  • Take on additional operational or advisory HR responsibilities as needed, including workforce planning support, learning and development, organizational changes, and evolving people-related needs
