About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team in Lake Angelus, MI. Requirements
- Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar caregiving role is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Must pass background checks and meet all regulatory requirements
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ physical and emotional conditions to the healthcare team
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, encouraging social interaction and engagement
- Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures
