About The Position
Qualicare Burlington is seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Workers to join their diverse team in the Dundas area. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about contributing to healthcare and seeking a supportive and flexible work environment.
Requirements
- Must have either Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate or Nursing students, or International Educated Nurses or Health Care Aid
- Previous hands-on experience providing personal care to clients is preferred
- Must have a recent Vulnerable Sector Check
- Mandarin Speaking
Nice To Haves
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate is considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Assisting individuals with daily living such as personal care and hygiene (i.e., Toileting, bathing, feeding, etc.)
- Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
- Providing nutrition support
- Completing shift reports
- Creating activity plans
- Maintaining complete and confidential information for each individual supported
- Providing social/emotional support to clients and their families
- Accompanying clients and assisting them with walking, exercise, and mobility
