Requirements
- A valid Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate
- Compassion, empathy, and professionalism in patient interactions
- Reliability and flexibility to meet evolving care needs
- A genuine passion for helping others and giving back to your community
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle to travel within a designated geographic area
- A clear Vulnerable Sector Screen
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including skin, hair, and oral care, bathing, toileting, and peri‑care
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, including special diets as outlined in the care plan
- Provide light housekeeping and companionship to promote comfort, safety, and quality of life
- Support independence and meaningful daily routines in home and community environments
- Build trusted relationships with patients and their families through compassionate, professional care
