Bayshore Home Care Solutions (Hamilton) is a division of Bayshore HealthCare Ltd. and supports the Greater Hamilton and Burlington areas by enhancing the quality of life, dignity, and independence of clients through customized care plans that allow them to remain in their homes. Bayshore is seeking passionate and caring Personal Support Workers to join their team. The role involves traveling within the Greater Hamilton & Burlington region to visit clients in their homes and facilities, creating meaningful moments and providing exceptional care.

Requirements

  • Personal Support Worker diploma, International Nursing Degree or equivalent (evidence required).
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle is required.
  • Willingness to drive own vehicle within the Greater Hamilton and Burlington areas.
  • Proof of valid education, license, and/or certificate.
  • 2 supervisory references.
  • A clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening.
  • Proof of being negative for TB.

  • Focusing on building strong, trusting relationships with clients and their families.
  • Adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
  • Performing easy documentation and correspondence using provided mobile devices and electronic communication.
