Bayshore Home Care Solutions (Hamilton) is a division of Bayshore HealthCare Ltd. and supports the Greater Hamilton and Burlington areas by enhancing the quality of life, dignity, and independence of clients through customized care plans that allow them to remain in their homes. Bayshore is seeking passionate and caring applicants for future Personal Support Worker positions. Certified PSWs living in the Hamilton area who are willing to travel within the Greater Hamilton & Burlington region to visit clients in their homes and facilities are encouraged to apply. This role offers the opportunity to create meaningful moments for clients daily while providing exceptional care.

Requirements

Personal Support Worker diploma, International Nursing Degree or equivalent (evidence required).
Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle is required.
Willingness to drive own vehicle within the Greater Hamilton and Burlington areas.
Proof of valid education, license, and/or certificate.
2 supervisory references.
A clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening.
Proof of being negative for TB.

Responsibilities

Provide client-centered care, focusing on building strong, trusting relationships with clients and their families in the community, both in-home and facility care.
Adhere to strict health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both staff and clients.
Document and correspond efficiently using provided mobile devices and electronic communication.
Travel within the Greater Hamilton and Burlington areas to visit clients in their homes and facilities.
