We are looking for a Personal Support Workers (PSW) who is interested and qualified to work with a client in a home setting located in Mississauga. Full-time position is available.
Requirements
- Personal Support Worker (PSW) diploma from an accredited institution
- NACC certificate if credentials were obtained from a private career college
- Has a valid First Aid and CPR certificate
- Has the basic skills and knowledge in caregiving such as personal care techniques, infection control, and basic medical terms
- Good verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assist with the client's personal care including but not limited to overall daily hygiene, grooming, dressing, etc.
- Assist with light housekeeping and maintenance.
- Provide feeding and meal support through meal preparation, ensuring proper nutrition, and monitoring any dietary restrictions.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to the client through social engagement and encouragement.
- Monitor changes in behavior, health, and overall well-being.
