Personal Support Assistant (PSA) / Caregiver - 24/7 Live-In
About The Position
Dungarvin is seeking compassionate and caring individuals to work as Personal Support Assistants (PSAs) or Caregivers in a 24/7 live-in residential setting. In this role, you will provide person-centered support services to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, or other complex medical needs, helping them to live as independently as possible. You will assist individuals in their homes and in the community, enhancing their quality of life. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant positive impact on people's lives, coaching, mentoring, and encouraging them to reach their goals.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Valid driver's license.
- Access to a vehicle with car insurance.
- Successful background clearance.
- Good communication skills (reading, writing, and verbal).
- Computer skills for documentation.
- Person-centered, patient, and kind.
- Dependable, adaptable, and flexible.
- Observant and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance in a residential setting to individuals with disabilities.
- Offer personal and companion care to enhance the quality of life for individuals.
- Support individuals in their homes and out in the community.
- Document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with team members.
- Act as a positive role model and work collaboratively within a team.
