About The Position

This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment with the unique opportunity to help launch and shape a new Sam's Club location from day one. The Personal Shopper Lead will be responsible for leading and supporting the team, running day-to-day operations, delivering for members, improving the business, and maintaining a safe and compliant environment. The role involves building something new, leading with purpose, and growing without limits within a new Sam's Club opening in Visalia, California.

Responsibilities

  • Train, coach, and support associates to deliver strong performance and great member service
  • Reinforce expectations, provide feedback, and recognize accomplishments
  • Support hiring, scheduling, and day-to-day development of associates
  • Keep merchandise stocked, organized, and ready for members
  • Ensure Club Pickup (online order pickup) is accurate, on time, and easy for members to collect
  • Jump in to problem-solve and keep operations moving in a fast-paced environment
  • Create a welcoming, helpful experience for every member
  • Resolve concerns quickly and confidently
  • Assist members with purchases, questions, and self-service tools
  • Use basic performance metrics to identify opportunities and improve results
  • Help streamline processes to make work easier for the team
  • Partner with club leadership to keep operations running efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment for associates and members
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Collaborate with managers, associates, members, and business partners to meet evolving business needs.
  • Use data and multiple sources of information to identify risks, track results, and drive improvement.
