About The Position

This position assists management with the supervision of associates in assigned areas, focusing on operations related to Sam's Club ecommerce programs like Club Pickup and Ship From Club. The role involves ensuring a safe facility, supporting the ecommerce plan, overseeing associates who support these programs, executing the Sam's Club Pickup plan, and providing excellent member service. The Personal Shopper Lead is also responsible for maintaining the sales floor and merchandise presentation, overseeing the picking and staging of club pickup orders, developing and implementing processes to meet business needs, and demonstrating company policies and standards of ethics and integrity. Additionally, the role involves leading and participating in teams, respecting individuals by embracing differences and creating a culture of belonging, acting with integrity by upholding high standards, and serving customers and members by delivering results and making sound decisions. The role also emphasizes striving for excellence through continuous improvement and adaptability to change.

Responsibilities

  • Assists management with the supervision of associates in assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates, providing direction and guidance, ensuring compliance with company policies, supporting the Open Door Policy, and participating in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates.
  • Maintains safety of facility according to company policies and procedures.
  • Supports the Sam's Club ecommerce plan in the club by overseeing operations of ecommerce programs, auditing online customer feedback, working to resolve customer complaints, and identifying trends and solutions.
  • Supervises Associates supporting the ecommerce programs by training, providing resources, assigning duties, providing feedback, communicating goals, and ensuring associate coverage at the ecommerce pickup location.
  • Executes the Sam's Club Pickup plan and processes in the club by updating Club operations with key performance indicators, auditing customer orders, ensuring equipment availability, maintaining awareness of the Club Pickup strategy, evaluating performance and processes, and supporting the development of new metrics.
  • Supports projects to improve CPU efficiencies in the club by leveraging key performance indicators and leadership insight to resolve operational gaps, modeling appropriate picking and loading, executing process improvement projects, evaluating program plans, and implementing solutions.
  • Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, providing guidance on self-service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services.
  • Ensures maintenance of the sales floor and merchandise presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures by handling claims and returns, zoning, stocking, arranging merchandise, setting up displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, and securing merchandise.
  • Oversees the picking and staging of club pickup orders throughout the day, ensuring products are selected and staged according to company policy and procedures.
  • Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners, analyzing information, monitoring progress, and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstrates, promotes, and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Leads and participates in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools, determining customer needs and business priorities, coordinating and executing work assignments, providing advice, feedback, and support, and modeling and helping others adapt to change or new challenges.
