Requirements

  • Active North Carolina Property & Casualty Insurance License required
  • Minimum of 4 years of personal lines insurance experience in an agency or insurance carrier environment
  • Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products, coverages, policy servicing, and renewals
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable managing a high-volume workload while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to work efficiently in a fully paperless and technology-driven environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities
  • Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively with clients, carriers, and internal team members
  • Demonstrated employment stability and a desire to grow long-term with an organization are highly valued

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Applied Systems (Epic or TAM) is highly preferred
  • Independent agency experience
  • Bilingual Spanish skills
  • Familiarity with regional carrier markets

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a large personal lines book of business for individual and family clients
  • Respond to inbound client inquiries regarding premiums, coverage opt-ins, policy changes, billing questions, and renewals
  • Process endorsements, policy updates, ID cards, beneficiary changes, and other service-related requests
  • Support account retention efforts by providing exceptional customer service and proactive client communication
  • Assist with policy renewals and remarketing opportunities while partnering with producers responsible for new business generation
  • Service a variety of personal insurance products including auto, homeowners, renters, umbrella, flood, life, motorcycle, and recreational vehicle policies
  • Utilize agency management systems and carrier portals to maintain accurate policy records and process transactions efficiently
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to support long term retention and customer satisfaction
  • Work within a fast-paced, high volume environment while balancing multiple client requests and deadlines
  • Contribute to a fully digital, paperless workflow through accurate documentation and effective use of technology
