About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team in Punta Gorda, FL. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of personal insurance accounts by delivering proactive client service, supporting renewals and policy servicing activity, and providing thoughtful coverage recommendations to meet client needs. The ideal candidate has a strong background in personal insurance, excellent communication skills, and a client-first mindset. Requirements

  • Experience in Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance, including home, auto, umbrella, and specialty lines required.
  • Active Florida Property & Casualty insurance license required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, peers, and carrier partners.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver responsive, high-quality service while serving as a primary point of contact for personal lines clients, addressing policy inquiries, renewals, endorsements, billing questions, and service requests.
  • Handle incoming service requests from existing clients while delivering exceptional customer service and timely follow-up.
  • Review client accounts to identify eligible discounts, coverage gaps, and personalized insurance recommendations aligned with client needs.
  • Re-evaluate coverage limits and policy structures to ensure clients remain appropriately insured and informed about available coverage options.
  • Requote and remarket personal lines insurance products as needed or requested to maintain competitive pricing and appropriate coverage.
  • Support sales agents and collaborate with internal team members to provide seamless service and support agency growth and retention efforts.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, carrier representatives, and team members to support long-term account success.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within agency systems, ensuring policy information, communications, and account activity remain current.
  • Assist clients with policy changes, billing inquiries, and coverage questions while providing professional guidance and support.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, carrier products, insurance regulations, and best practices through ongoing professional development.
