About The Position

MSIG USA is seeking an Account Representative to provide English and/or Japanese interpretation on policy requests and inquiries from agents and Japanese insured. This role will offer coverage consultation, risk management, and assist in the resolution of service issues. The company is a growing subsidiary of MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings, Inc., a top global P&C carrier with a strong financial standing and international reach.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3 years of insurance experience is required.
• Must have Property & Casualty Agent License.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Japanese (for bi-lingual role only) is required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of Applied Agency Management System is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a working knowledge of personal lines auto, homeowners, fire, and excess liability and boat coverages for all states and multiple carriers.
• Develop a working knowledge of all entry and rating procedures and requirements for the above coverages.
• Enter all activities within the Applied Agency system and complete daily activities within the required deadline.
• Receive claims for insureds who need Japanese interpretation.
• Forward claim information to claims handling offices.
• Follow up on claims where necessary.
• Answer incoming phone calls, faxes, and email inquiries from customers/agents for quotations, policy changes, and cancellations.
• Interpret policy information.
