About The Position

The Personal Lines Account Manager (Premier Elite Client Advocate) is responsible for providing exceptional service to a group of Premier Elite Client middle-market personal lines customers by providing professional advice and demonstrating advocacy for the client at all times. The Account Manager works independently and must be an excellent problem solver.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal, commercial, or mixed‑lines insurance, with the ability to independently manage a book of business.
  • Attention to detail — Accurate, thorough work with strong quality control.
  • Ownership mindset — Takes full responsibility for issues and follows them through to resolution.
  • Problem‑solving strength — Able to assess situations quickly and identify effective solutions.
  • Strong written communication — Clear, professional, and concise in all written interactions.
  • Confident verbal communication — Articulate and effective in client, carrier, and internal conversations.
  • Organizational skill — Manages competing priorities and deadlines with ease.
  • Independent work style — Operates efficiently without close supervision.
  • Education or equivalent experience — Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional background.
  • Active broker’s license — Holds and maintains required state licensing.
  • Industry software proficiency — Experienced with Sagitta, Image Right, and other core systems.
  • Microsoft Office skills — Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Become a trusted advisor and provide exemplary service in all aspects to our Premier Elite Clients.
  • Work as a team with other Premier Elite Client Advocates, producers and department managers.
  • Develop cooperative and professional relationships with our carriers.
  • Manage all renewal activity from start to close.
  • Deliver complete and accurate renewal reviews according to agency guidelines.
  • Look for sales opportunities by account rounding and selling additional coverage.
  • Assume ownership of customer concerns and feedback until completion.
  • Remarket accounts according to agency guidelines or at the request of the producer or insured.
  • Take on additional responsibilities.
  • Manage projects as directed by supervisors and managers.
  • Comply with all internal procedures and practices while demonstrating the ability to meet performance and quality standards.
