Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, Client Advisor, or similar role in the insurance industry, preferably in personal lines.
  • Possession of a state insurance license in Property and Casualty or the ability to obtain one within the required timeframe.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance terms clearly.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Track record of building trust and long-term relationships with clients.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop customized solutions for clients.
  • Proficiency in using insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Customer-focused approach with a drive to deliver exceptional service.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for personal insurance clients, addressing inquiries, policy updates, and providing claim assistance.
  • Maintain and manage a portfolio of personal lines insurance accounts to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop customized insurance plans by analyzing coverage options and providing recommendations.
  • Handle policy modifications, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations in compliance with company policies and timelines.
  • Work with internal teams and external carriers to resolve client concerns and implement policies effectively.
  • Educate clients on available coverage options, policy features, and the benefits of different insurance products.
  • Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities for additional insurance products or services.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate client records in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, new products, and changes in insurance regulations to provide the best advice to clients.
