Personal Lines Account Manager
About The Position
Growing independent insurance agency is looking for the right person to join our team in a Personal Lines Account Manager position. Candidate should have prior insurance agency or company experience and prior customer service experience and must be proficient in Microsoft online platforms including word and excel. Candidate must also be comfortable interacting with clients, carrier underwriters, and carrier marketing representatives. The position includes quoting and processing new and renewal business, and all aspects of personal lines account managing. We are looking for a team member who will be committed to providing the highest level of service with the goal of exceeding customer expectations.
Requirements
- Prior insurance agency or company experience
- Prior customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft online platforms including word and excel
- Comfortable interacting with clients, carrier underwriters, and carrier marketing representatives
- 2 years of Insurance experience
- 2 years of Insurance Account Managing experience
- Property & Casualty License or Personal Lines License
Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to review and analyze appropriate insurance coverages, and recommendations.
- Handle policy renewals, change requests, inquiries, and other daily customer needs.
- Develop insurance renewal strategies and initiate marketing process directly with carriers.
- Collaborate with agency team members to ensure client satisfaction and team success.
- Recommend and quote additional coverages and/or policies.
- Quoting and processing new and renewal business, and all aspects of personal lines account managing.
