Requirements

  • Property and Casualty License must be obtained within 75 days of the first day of New Hire Onboarding.
  • Must have strong personal lines technical knowledge - minimum 7 years’ experience.
  • The employee is responsible for adherence to the stated expectations of the E&O Plus Quality Management Program.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with agency management systems.
  • Proficient skill level in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Receive phone calls and office visitors regarding changes to existing and or new policies.
  • Determine acceptability and placement, make recommendations, complete applications or endorsements requests and collect premium where applicable.
  • Inform, educate and make recommendations to clients about policy coverage, changes, exclusions and insurance coverage needs.
  • Handle all client, producer, and insurer service requests.
  • Maintain and develop advanced knowledge of underwriting and rating procedures for all types of policies.
  • Maintain and further cultivate agency relationships with underwriters.
  • Review existing accounts to determine if an additional line of insurance or coverages of insurance should be recommended.
  • Mentor team members with emphasis on culture and morale.
  • Perform high level agency management system tasks, accounting and claim management tasks.
  • Execute processes outlined in procedure manual.
  • Perform other duties as requested including exercising discretion and judgment prioritizing workload.
