About The Position

HUB International is seeking a Personal Insurance Quoter to join its Personal Lines team in the East Longmeadow, Massachusetts office on a hybrid work schedule. Under the direction of the Department Manager, the role reviews and enters underwriting data into insurance company websites and agency management systems, and prepares proposals according to company practices, policies, and procedures. The position supports personal insurance submissions and quoting, policy and client setup, new business processing, and related administrative work.

Requirements

Experience with personal lines insurance.
Thorough knowledge of personal lines coverages and markets.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Ability to pay attention to detail.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with pre-underwriting information gathering and proposal presentations as needed.
Gather data online for insurance submissions.
Provide online portal quoting support.
Set up new client and policy shells, and enter policy data into the agency management system.
Compile and scan new business marketing files into the agency management system.
Invoice new business in the agency management system, if applicable.
Mail Lost Policy Release forms with client-specific cover letters.
Finalize new business and rewrite proposal procedures.
Apply new business deposit payments.
Conduct business in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the company's business and earnings implications.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Manager or Team Leader.
